 ‘rcirc’ is an Emacs IRC client.
 
    IRC (Internet Relay Chat) is a multi-user chat protocol.  Users
 communicate with each other in real-time.  Communication occurs both in
 topic channels which are collections of many users, or privately, with
 just one other user.
