 LilyPond-specific term to indicate the repetition of a musical
 expression on a single staff, as opposed to the more usual definition of
 repeat, which affects all parts.  The musical expression can be anything
 from a single note or note pattern to one or more measures.  There are
 other names for this symbol:
 
    • simile mark
    • slash mark, or slash repeat
    • beat repeat
    • measure (or multi-measure) repeat
