3.2 Running the syntax check ============================ When ‘flymake-mode’ is active, syntax check is started automatically on any of the three conditions mentioned above. Syntax check can also be started manually by using the ‘flymake-start-syntax-check-for-current-buffer’ function. This can be used, for example, when changes were made to some other buffer affecting the current buffer.
