ccmode: K&R Symbols

 10.2.13 K&R Symbols
 -------------------

 Two other syntactic symbols can appear in old style, non-prototyped C
 code (1):

       1: int add_three_integers(a, b, c)
       2:      int a;
       3:      int b;
       4:      int c;
       5: {
       6:     return a + b + c;
       7: }

    Here, line 2 is the first line in an argument declaration list and so
 is given the ‘knr-argdecl-intro’ syntactic symbol. Subsequent lines
 (i.e., lines 3 and 4 in this example), are given ‘knr-argdecl’ syntax.
